Psychological therapy
What can you expect?
At Strong Foundations, we are dedicated to providing therapy for children under 12, as well as their parents and families. Our experienced psychologists use a trauma-informed, relational approach to foster stronger connections between children and their families, which can significantly enhance mental health and build resilience.
We believe in equipping both children and parents with valuable skills that will last a lifetime. Our therapists also focus on supporting parents with evidence-based parenting techniques that help create a nurturing environment for their child’s growth and development.
We use a variety of methods of therapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and interpersonal therapy, tailoring our approach to best suit each individual’s needs. Therapy can be provided on a short-term or long-term basis, depending on what will work best for your family’s unique situation.
At Strong Foundations, we are here to help strengthen the bonds that support your child’s mental health and you family's well-being.
